Now, as an example, we are going to find some keywords as well as topic ideas on “Digital Marketing” with our targeted location “US”.

Within few seconds we can see a clear picture of this keyword. Like it’s search volume, KD, CPC, Intent, etc. But we are going to scroll down to get more keyword ideas.

As we can see that there has more than 180K keywords which is related to “Digital Marketing”. And we are going to discover those keywords to create cluster.

2. Do Topical Keyword Research

We have to find top keywords that we can cover on your web pages.

Here you can see we are on ‘Broad Match’ and the left side has some good categories. 

3. Find more subtopics

Now we are going to narrow our niche by focusing on a particular subcategory. For example, we are taking “Strategy” as a subcategory. So, this might be a good cluster for us. 

On the right side, we can see some quality topics that we can cover under the “Strategy” cluster.

Once you’ve identified your core topic and keywords, you should strive to cover all possible subtopics or clusters your target audience may be interested in.

Finally, we have found a list of good keywords on the topic. Now we will move to another tool which is a free keyword clustering tool.
